- Daredevil: Born again Viewers are disappointed with section 7’s great character death
- Marvel -Fans had hoped to see the individual stay much longer
- Disney+ users thought their character arch should have been explained in more detail in previous episodes, too
Daredevil: Born again Haven’t drawn much criticism from Marvel fans since it began in early March.
It has changed after the release of its seventh episode entitled ‘Art for Art’s Sake’. In fact, some viewers have reacted negatively to a large character death in Disney+ Show, with some who said they felt there was more to explore with that individual at a grade level.
Full spoilers immediately follow before Daredevil: Born again Section 7. Turn back now if you haven’t seen it yet.
Is Muse really dead in Daredevil: Born again?
It seems. The serial killer who has pursued the streets of New York everywhere Daredevil: Born again Season 1 is no longer of this world. Unless you are a superpower creature, you do not take five gunshot wounds to the upper body and live to tell the story in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
To be righteous, Muse got it come. Not only has he murdered 60 innocent civilians since Wilson Fisk became mayor of New York City, he was close to increasing that context to 62 in Daredevil: Born again Section 5 and the latest chapter of the series.
If Daredevil had not intervened on both occasions, Muse would add Angela Torres, alias nies of deceased vigilant white tiger, and Heather Glenn, ie. Matt Murdock/Daredevil’s girlfriend, to his victims list. It is therefore a good job that Murdock ended his long -standing self -imposed exile as the man without fear.
It will be interesting to see how Murdock handles the fact that Glenn is responsible for Muse’s death. Although fish paint a picture (see what I did there?) That his anti-vigilante taskforce took down mouse, Gleen is the one who filled mouse-really name Bastian Cooper and the individual whom we all suspected of being mouse as early as Born again Section 2 – with lead. That’s because Cooper was one of Glenn’s mental health patients, and during their recent session he tried to kill her.
So even though Glenn was acting in self -defense, I’m curious to see if Murdock’s opinion about her will change because, like Daredevil, he still seems to be adhering to his rule without killing. Well, as long as Glenn does not bomb on the fact that her boyfriend is not only the devil in Hell’s Kitchen, but also lies to her about his injuries and where he has gone at night, and then breaks up with him.
‘This episode was like jumping into the final of a movie I haven’t seen’
But back to the current question. Muse’s death means that the last two episodes of Born again‘s first season will focus primarily on the next collision of its two protagonists. Of course, they are Murdock and Fish.
Nevertheless, fans of the Marvel Phase 5 TV series have expressed disappointment that Muse is no longer nearby.
Going to a Marvel Studios Reddit thread after episod 7, Marrukenta wrote “I’m a little disappointed that it might be the last of the muse we see. Hunter Doohan really drew the creepy aspect of the character”. In another reddit -thread joked joker_cp * ahem * that they had hoped to see the museum be more in Born again Season 1’s last couple of items before his death in ‘Art for Art’s Sake’.
Comment from R/Marvelstudiospoilers
Others were less enthusiastic about Muse’s portrayal in the show for various reasons. First, Redditor Cartoon Academically said they were not happy that MUSE got a clear identity in the series (NB: He remained nameless in Marvel Comics since he debuted in September 2016).
Other places suggested mcu -fans that Born again Should have spent more time examining the Muse’s civil identity. At Reddit, Amardikli and Crimsoncomet1941 said they were disappointed that the show didn’t give us more scenes between Glenn and Cooper to really sell where they the latter were, or to see what actually made him cross.
Redditor Vadermaulkylo expressed frustration at how little he was also used on the camera. With comments from Willylys_zuppa, Rain616 and Pax_flash, among other things, how scary muse was in section 7, it’s a shame that this is the end of the line for Cooper and his masked alias.
Do you think we see mouse recurring season 2 with his more superhuman abilities😣 #daredevilbornagain #daredevil pic.twitter.com/w820JSO98YApril 2, 2025
Or is it? In a speech with tvline, showrunner dario scardapane suggested that muse – or at least his shadow – will weave big over Born againSophomore excursion. “The mouse race, due to a lack of a better word, has in this story pretty shocking consequences. And these consequences do not end,” Scardapane said. “We carry them in Season 2 is the best way I can say that.”
Does this mean that Cooper could somehow return as a muse? Will a fanatic of Hans adopt Mantelen Muse 2.0? Or was the presence of the serial killer this season just a focal point to get Murdock and fish’s dark sides again? We will have to wait and see what plays out in one of the best Disney+ Shows’ next two episodes and in Season 2 before they know for sure.
