Steve Hill, Las Vegas Convention and Visiting Authority President and CEO, shared with Pakinomist Digital what fans can expect the moment they arrive at Harry Reid International Airport.
“No city allows an event to really take over the city, as Las Vegas does,” Hill said. “There are a number of reasons for it. One is that we do it on a fairly regular basis. There will be activations at the airport, there are activations both outside and inside a number of properties on the strip.
“You just want to see it and feel it in a way that is hard to replicate elsewhere, and we are just kind of built as a platform for these big events. Then the fans and wrestlemania also take over a city you can feel the excitement, you feel the energy and it is unlike you see somewhere else.”
The atmosphere around the city looks like the Super Bowl Week. Fans from all time have flowed to the city to see their favorite breakers appear on “The biggest phase of them all.” All the excitement will eventually lead to the fight for the undisputed WWE championship between Cody Rhodes and John Cena.
A specially animated “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, which also shows Cena’s signature “You Can’t See Me”, the fishing phrase will be shown at the airport.
Wrestlemania 41 Night 1 will contain the end of multiple epic feuds

WRESTLEMANIA 41 NIGHT 2 WILL SEE John Cena try to make history against Cody Rhodes
Not to mention the countless number of independent wrestling shows that take place at several hotels and facilities throughout the city. The events don’t even scrape the surface of what’s going to come throughout the weekend.
“We’re starting to feel it was going in this weekend,” Hill said. “I point out that this is the Easter saint, who is typically not one of the busiest weekends in Las Vegas. Understanding is often a weekend spent with the family and not necessarily here. And then (wrestlemania) really lifts this weekend for us in a variety of ways.
“You start seeing Marquee takeover on the strip. You start to see the presence. We’ve got big wrestlemania belts on iconic figures on Caesars and the lion on MGM -Grand and that kind of thing. So you start to see these types of Super Bowl and Formula One when you just start going around, and it’s really
Hill told Pakinomist Digital that he wasn’t really a pro -wrestling fan that grew up but has become more interested in it in the last year or so.

“John Cena – of course the limelight is on him. And you grow up with these older wrestlers and still have them around, and I relate to it,” Hill said. “He’s kind of gone to the dark side here. We’re pretty interested in seeing how it works.”
