Las Vegas – The new day returned to the top of the Tag Team Division on Saturday night with a win over War Raiders in the Night 1 of Wrestlemania 41.
Kofi Kingston held Ivar while Xavier Woods delivered a stamp from the top rope.
When Woods went after the pain, Kingston kept Ivar’s legs and prevented him from getting any momentum to kick off the pin. The referee counted to three, and New Day was crowned for World Tag Team Champion.

Erik and Ivar had a couple of solid moments when they seemed to be gaining momentum in the match, but they were overwhelmed by one of the best tag teams in the WWE history from the very beginning.
Woods and Kingston took the belts and ran immediately up the ramp. They had told the world to do the unthinkable and achieved it, which put their veteran skill on full view against a War Raider team that quickly returned to stage after injuries.
While Woods and Kingston are recalibrated by starting the Big E officially, fans have not returned the benefits. It didn’t seem to have anything too much and the victory for them makes it even sweeter.

The new day has won 12 WWE tag team titles since the group’s start. Woods and Kingston have won four roofing titles together.
Woods and Kingston will let fans know about their win at the next “Monday Night Raw.”
