Brett Ryan Gosselin (BRG) burst on the big league-wrestling scene as the flashy up-and-comer who bore a fantastic resemblance to Ryan Gosling’s Ken in the movie “Barbie.”
But over the past year he is separated from that guy and has found a place in the ridiculous riders with Bobby Fish, CJ and Brock Anderson. It is the new -founded toughness he hopes to fight with Battle Riot VII with Major League Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship on the line.

Gosselin was one of the 40 men in a match last year, but he didn’t get out of the winner.
“Last year was a little different,” he explained to Pakinomist Digital in a recent conversation. “I ran up by myself. I was pretty much a one-man show at that time. This year I have CW Anderson, Brock Anderson and Bobby Fish by my side. So planning has been going on for months now to strategy that goes into the fight revolt for this year.
“When it comes to gold, BRG is the guy who always searches for gold. I said in early 2025 that this is the year of Rogue Horsemen to become a championship franchise and win the MLW title would be the best first step to make it a reality.”
With its sights on championship gold, Gosselin made it clear that Al “Barbie” business is in the rearview mirror, even when Battle Riot VII is set to take place at Thunder Studios Arena in Long Beach, California, for his debut in Los Angeles County.

“For people who don’t know, they just assume that Brett Ryan Gosselin is my stage name, that’s my real name. And with that said, much of what you see on TV is just naturally me,” he explained. “It’s just who I am as a person. I have always grown up with my dad that tells me that it doesn’t matter how you win at the end of the day as long as you win. History books will remember you as a winner and that’s what I focus on.
“When it comes to ‘Barbie’ things, I played a little into it during the ‘Barbie’ movie when it was super popular, and obviously Ryan Gosling Ken was in that movie, so I had a little fun with it. But you know people can draw these comparisons now, but I think I very much surpassed Ryan Gosling’s popularity from the ‘Barbie’ movie.”
Gosselin will be one of 40 men who want to go out of Long Beach with championship gold.
