WWE -Master Cody Rhodes has been playing Clash of Clans for almost 10 years, and the time the effort and money he put into that mobile game paid off Monday.
Rhodes will be among WWE superstars who will be “imagined as iconic characters” in the game beginning on Tuesday, with the game having a match sponsorship on Wrestlemania 41, announced WWE and Clash of Clans.

“The American nightmare” will be imagined as the “barbaric king.”
He told Pakinomist Digital in a recent conversation he’s been playing Clash of Clans since its early days. The video game requires players to build their own village by using resources obtained from attacking others or joining their own clan to participate in “Clan Wars.”
“When I talk about the culmination of years, for those who do not know, I have played clashes since and days, and there is a whole group of wwe (stars) – the nicky clan – still running today,” Rhodes said. “We are literally on a day of preparation for a war. Now we do all the seasons. I’ve got every skin you could think of. I constantly push the little coat to see what you can change and to make this a collapse with WWE – Mind Blowing.
“There are things you want and want and goals you might have in this job, and there are the really pleasant surprises that come across. This has been one of these really pleasant surprises. I didn’t expect we would be able to make this cross -border, WWE and Clash, and Gosh, it blasts me away.”

“When the gaming team found out that Cody Rhodes and other superstars were long-lasting clashes of clan fans, they didn’t hesitate to reach WWE,” supercell leader of Live Games Sara Bach said in a news message. “This partnership in Clash of Clans is on a scale we’ve never set up before-from the event in the game that reaches tens of thousands of millions of players, to Wrestlemania 41 and our Clash of Clans matches as a first-of-Sin-stroke event on the biggest stage.”
Rhodes is set to defend the undisputed WWE championship against John Cena in Wrestlemania 41, as the feud between the two competitors has started since the elimination chamber.
Ironically, Rhodes mentioned, it was Cena that got him into it.
“It’s crazy. The answer to this question actually relates to Wrestlemania, as I could make it seem like it should, but it actually does,” he said. “John Cena – He got the game, played it on the road. All of us thought the same thing you have time to commit to this game? Clash is the type of game you have time to commit to because you set your base and you go away. The way it works is very easy to play.
“He had a clan, Olk, O’Leary Klan. And maybe we knew he was a bad guy all the way back then because we kicked him out of the clan and started what was called the Nicky Klan whom I think we scorned the social media person who worked at the time named Nicky, we named it.
“And the clan still exists today. There is a whole dressing room full of guys in it, and a lot of different changing rooms full of guys in it, and a lot of different dressing rooms with different wrestling organizations all in the clan.”

Clash of Clans is one of the more popular mobile games ever. The game has collected more than two billion lifetime downloads, and the WWE partner has apparently led it to a new level.
