“I am well aware of. I hear every one of you. This is a troublesome path. First, Jey Uso, the most beloved character in the whole WWE. Then, the modern closet room later, the man, Randy Orton. And by Summerslam, that means I face either CM Punk or John Cena,” Rhodes said.

“And I fully get how you feel like the audience when I go up against these beloved characters, but I want you to hear it from me – I was born to do this. Whenther is CM PUNK or John Cena, they hold on to that belt to themselves and they hold it to me, because at SummerSlam I get the ball back.”

Asuka had almost the storm that Cargill brought to Riyadh Tamed. She had Cargill in a submission team, but Cargill was able to get out of it and break free. Cargill interrupted Asuka’s “Empress” and hit her with “Jaded.”

“When I first went into this tournament, it felt like the world was on my shoulders. But you know, for the people out there who doubt themselves, praise yourself because you are fighting through Boos. Don’t let them tell you who you are – you show them,” she said after the match. “And the grinding doesn’t stop. A storm comes to SummerSlam.”

Rhodes and Cargill have both the world’s titled shots on Summerslam guaranteed with their king and queen of the ring tournament wins.

Rhodes is likely to go up against John Cena in the fight of Wrestlemania 41 for the undisputed WWE championship. Cena defeated CM PUNK to preserve the title early at night. Both Cena and Punk prevented Seth Rollins’ cash attempts. But Rollins got the last laughter when he stamped punk and screwed him out of a title.

Cargill will either target Tiffany Stratton or Iyo Sky for their women’s titles. Stratton hung on his belt on “Friday Night Smackdown” in a victory against Nia Jax in a last woman who was fighting. Sky regained gold in March with a win over Rhea Ripley. All women also have to have naomi on the back of their minds as she won the women’s money in the banking match.
