WWE NXT star Roxanne Perez published several photos of herself with punk as she sought the superstar’s mentorship since returning. She told Pakinomist Digital about what it’s like to have him.
“It’s amazing. ‘Best in the world’ is not just a moniker. He’s one of the best in the world,” she said. “So to have him as a mentor and having there at NXT, it’s cool. And he doesn’t have to do it. He doesn’t have to fly out and come and see our matches and he stands there (Gorilla position) Every time a match ends and he tells them feedback.
“It’s just amazing. It’s nice to have him there.”

Punk showed up at the NXT’s show in September, and Perez, when she was still NXT Women’s Champion, had a chance to drop his own “pipe bomb” on him.
“It was fantastic,” she said. “I think that’s another thing that definitely solidified me like what I say I am. I was able to step in with the best in the world, one of the best promotions in the world, and I got him a little silent, I think.
Perez seems to be a three-time NXT women at Vengeance Day. She will be in a deadly four-way match against defending champion Giulia, Bayley and Cora Jade.
