Roman Reigns returned to a WWE ring on “Monday Night Raw” as he helped avert a beatdown after match at CM Punk from Bronn Breaker and Bronson Reed.
Punk fastened breaks to earn a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther at SummerSlam next month. However, when the clock sounded, Reed launched an attack on punk. Jey Uso tried to break it up, but he was greeted with a spear from breaks.

Reed tried to pile USO on top of punk and hit a “tsunami” from the top rope, but Reigns’ Music hit. The audience at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama, almost blew off the lid.
Reigns marched down to the ring and immediately sent Reed and breaks and sent them shaky to the ramp with Paul Heyman, who mingled behind them.

The “original tribal manager” had not been seen since his wrestlemania 41 defeat when Heyman turned on Reigns and Seth Rollins hit him with a chair to secure the victory. Punk was also in the match, and he did not exactly give Reigns a warm greeting when he showed up to avert breaks and reed. There still seems to be a lot of wounded feelings between the two competitors.
Either way, Punk and Gunther will meet on SummerSlam, and Reigns’ fate and business with Heyman, Reed and Breaks will be treated in the coming weeks.

Rollins was not seen during the show. He seemed to suffer a leg injury during his match against La Knight during “Saturday Night’s Main Event.” Heyman told Raws Jackie Redmond that Rollins’ health was irrelevant because he still has 11 months to deposit his money into the banking contract and could take all the time he needs to make an impact.
