The last 12 months for the WWE star Drew McIntyre has been brutal – and it can be an understatement.
McIntyre had a brutal blood feud with cm punk and launched in another rivalry with Damian Priest, which led him to get glass in his eye before Wrestlemania 41. He won that match, and the two wound up the scoring in a steel cage at the last “Saturday Night’s Main Event” show in May.

The battle with priest was the last one of McIntyre before returning on “Friday Night Smackdown” last week. He was aiming for Randy Orton and received an RKO when “The Legend Killer” felt he crossed the line. It comes to the head when McIntyre is back in action to meet against Orton on “Saturday Night’s Main Event” this weekend.
McIntyre said that when he jumps off his shirt at the Premium Live event, fans will “see all the work that has gone into physics and the movement that has gone to the gym.”
“I feel honestly better than I felt about, minimum, six or seven years. During this free time, I’ve had a chance to go back and look at everything from an external perspective – the product itself and more specifically me because I only compete against myself what I’m about,” he told Pakinomist Digital in a recent interview.
“And I realize, Wow, OK, I have some areas I really need to improve, even though from a fans’ perspective they might say, ‘Well, look at your 2024 that goes into 2025 on the microphone, in the ring, physically compared to everyone else.’ I said no, no, no.
McIntyre said he used to glow to fitness magazines about how he was able to eat everything he wanted, and maintained his incredible physique and stay in shape in the ring.

During his time away from the ring, however, McIntyre became aware that he had to cut all this out if he would return to the top of the WWE mountain.
“For the first time in my life, I’ve brought someone in to start the diet in the right way. I’ve brought someone to kick my A- in the gym. I brought someone in to start doing rehabilitation at the gym, stretched things I have never done in my life, and it is incredible what it has opened in my body and feel exactly like I would probably like before I won the royal rum in 2020. Me about now, in General, I feel uneven, “He said,” he said.
McIntyre promised he will show the world what he is capable of in the next race.
“I’m a little angry with myself that I didn’t see it when I was in the system, but it really just takes a step back outside your routine, look at everything objectively and say, ‘Where can I improve?’ … When I looked into that mirror, I was like you don’t give it all, your diet is abysmal, you stay up to six some nights when you don’t have to be that you don’t get that sleep.

“And the fact that I am not, I don’t even feel in the top three right now, don’t remember the top 10. If I’m not # 1, then I’m honestly P — D Off, and it’s on me and it all changes this Saturday.”
