Islamabad:
Social Media Platform ‘X’-earlier known as Twitter-Experiences a large-scale service disorder that affects users in Pakistan and several other countries.
The sudden disturbance occurred around 1 p.m. 18 today, leaving thousands of users who were unable to access their feeds or send messages.
According to the Power Downdetector Power Downdetector, over 2,300 users reported problems on top of the failure. The platform was short down to both desktop and mobile and sparkled frustration over the Internet.
The global Internet surveillance organization Netblocks also confirmed that the disturbance is international in scope and not related to any Internet service in the countryside service or filtration.
Users of the platform faced several problems, including problems logging in and delays by receiving direct messages. Although services gradually resume, the company has not yet issued an official statement explaining the reason. In addition, many users reported broken connections during the disturbance.
Pakistan Telecom regulator also confirmed the disturbance on Saturday and said the popular social media platform is currently experiencing a large -scale service disorder in Pakistan.
According to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), this disturbance that took place after a global topic is experienced in several other countries.
‘X’ had also faced service disorders on Thursday (May 22), which lasted for several hours before the platform restored on its own.

PTA further clarified that studies did not reveal technical problems with Pakistan’s Internet portals and that all other Internet services across the country are working normally.
PTA added that it continuously monitors the situation and will give the public updates when they become available.
