The New York Yankees Super Star Aaron Judge believes that Yankees has a better chance of winning the World Series than their Crosstown rivals, New York Mets.
Judge, 32, was asked about his former teammate, Juan Soto, and Soto’s apparent conclusion that he had a better chance of winning with Mets than Yankees.
“That’s his opinion. He can say what he wants. I definitely disagree with him. I wasn’t too surprised at what I think this was where he would be,” Judge of journalists said Monday during a press conference.

Soto signed a record-breaking 15-year-old, $ 765 million contract with Mets this season. If Soto chooses after the fifth year of its contract, Mets can cancel it by earning the total value of the contract $ 805 million.
“Mets is a great organization and what they have done in the last few years showing the ability to continue on the question of why he chose to sign with Mets in free agency.
Soto’s agreement is the richest contract in the story of professional sport, and Judge said on Monday he is fond of his former teammate.
“I think that’s where is best for him and his family. He got a pretty nice deal over there you can’t say no. But I’m glad for him he got a good deal. He will be in a Great place.
Judge and Soto was the Big Leagues’ best duo last season.
Judge won the American League MVP after clubing a league tall 58 home runs and drove in most races in baseball (144) while maintaining a sparkling .322 batting average.

Soto ended up in third place in the AL MVP race as he had the best season of his career while hit in front of the referee.
Soto hit a career high 41 home runs and hit .288 while coming to the base on a .419 clip.
Judge knows it’s impossible to replace Soto, but he likes what Yankees has done to compensate for his loss.
“Soto is unique man, he is a special player. Tense for him and his new chapter with mets, but we added a lot of new pieces here, starting with (Cody) Bellinger and (Paul) Goldschmidt. Two guys who are previously MVP “Is, guys who still want to improve will still get better,” Judge said.

“They will add such a different dynamic to this team. It really extends our entire lineup when you have these guys, Juan Soto, but you bring guys like this one, there are all Star, MVP -Caliber players.”
Yankees acquired Bellinger in a trade with Chicago Cubs and signed Goldschmidt for one year’s appointment in free agency.
Bellinger won NL MVP 2019 with Los Angeles Dodgers and has spent the last two seasons with Cubs.
Bellinger hit .266 and hit 18 home runs with the kids last season and he plays a strong center field.

Goldschmidt won NL MVP in 2022, but struggled last season when he got off a slow start before jumping back. He hit .245 with 22 homes in 154 games last season.
These two are tasked with replacing the hole Soto, which is back in the Yankees lineup as they try to get back to the World Series after losing to dodgers in five matches.
Soto will depend on anchoring the Mets lineup with Francisco Lindor, as Mets has the World Series ambitions after a surprise race to NLC’s last season.
