New York Yankees Infielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. was pushed out from Thursday evening’s win over Tampa Bay Rays but he could find himself MLBs Social media policy.
Chisholm was thrown into the seventh lap after he argued for a third strike call from the record Judge John Bacon. After arguing on the record, Chisholm was thrown out of the game for his fifth career draft.

It was his first with Yankees.

But the argument would not end there when Chisholm went to social media to further condemn Bacon’s call.
“Not even f — ing close,” Chisholm wrote in a post of X before he later deleted it.
Chisholm reportedly announced the message minutes after his draft and while the game was still going on. The post was an apparent violation of Major League Baseball’s Social media Policy prohibiting the use of electronic devices during games.

According to the policy, “electronic equipment” cannot be used 30 minutes before the start of a game before its conclusion. In addition, the policy prohibits any content “that questions or otherwise denigers a larger or minor league judge.”
Chisholm’s actions on Thursday seemed to violate both of these rules.
After the match, Chisholm told the media that he did not think anything he had said before the draft justified he was being kicked out of the game. He added that his comments after the call were made to push him out likely to have.

“I’m a competitor, so when I go out there and I want to be right and you say something to me that I think don’t make sense, I’ll be fired up and get upset,” he said.
“I lost my feelings. I lost my cool. So at the same time, I still had to be able to stay out there and play defense of my team. That’s why I’m here.”
Yankees beat Rays 6-3.
