Yankees star breaks the team’s facial hair policy, which gets reaction to social media

When Devin Williams was traded for New York Yankees, he had to bust the razor out.

Of course, Yanks has had a long -term policy since George Steinbrenner owned the team that players must not donate facial hair during their lower lip.

So the lights out were needed to get rid of his healthy beard, which got a completely different look.

After only a week in Tampa, however, Williams seemed to have forgotten to shave on Tuesday morning when he shook some Peach Fuzz.

When Williams was asked to be shaved, he simply replied, “That’s what it is.” It was the first time he shaved his beard of six years. In fact, he actually arrived at camping without the shaven.
