New York Yankees star Jazz Chisholm Jr. And Atlanta Braves Third Base coach Eddie Perez had words with each other under the team’s matchup on Saturday night.

Yes Network broadcast showed Chisholm, shouting against Braves’ dugout as he stood on the third base at the top of the sixth lap. Chisholm seemed to tell Perez to “cry about it.” Perez seemed to signal that Chisholm would be hit in the head the next time the batting order came around.

“I hope so,” Chisholm replied.

The question between Chisholm and Perez may have stemed from the coach who was disturbed by the star’s infielder giving Yankee’s shortstop Anthony Volpe signals under his bats. Chisholm stood at the second base and began to touch his breast within Volp’s sight.

Perez told journalists after the game that he saw Chisholm giving the signals and denying that he threatened to get someone to beat him in the head, rather he tried to tell him to “think” according to the New York Post.

“I’m not entirely sure (what was going on),” said Yankee’s manager Aaron Boone after the game. “I know they said some things that are likely to be looked at and should be.”

Chisholm refused to comment.
