How are the refunds treated?

The first group eligible for an automatic payment includes Amazon Prime subscribers who signed up via a “challenged registration stream”. In other words, a process that made it difficult to cancel your subscription. This refers to any version of:

If you are part of the first wave of payments, you do not need to submit a claim. Amazon will distribute payments based on the total amount of membership fees paid under your subscription (maximum $ 51) and you can expect to get your payment within 90 days.
The other group of customers must apply for a refund. To qualify, you must have signed up for a challenged registration current (as described above) or unsuccessfully tried to cancel your subscription. Nor can you have used any of your most important benefits more than 10 times in any 12-month subscription period.
Customers who fall under the criteria of the second wave of payments must fill out a form.
Amazon Prime Refund process
We are currently only on the first wave of the process where automatic refund is treated for those who signed up for a “challenged enrollment current” (see above) and have not used more than three most important benefits within a period of 12 months.
Unfortunately, wave two plaintiffs must wait as Amazon has not sent the refund form yet or created a site with details of the requirement process. It will only be available when the Wave One customers are all getting their payments.

Within 30 days of Amazon settling his automatic payments, anyone who is eligible for the second wave will be notified via E email (and sent letters).
