‘YouM-E-Takbeer’ hailed as golden chapter in the story

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expanded on Wednesday heartfelt congratulations to the people of the country and Ummah on the occasion of the YouM-E-Takbeer, who calls it a day with pride, power and unhealthy national determination.

In a message, she said, “Yom-E-Takbeer is not only a date in the calendar, it is a strong reminder of Pakistan’s historical decision to become a nuclear power, a decision that continues to inspire pride and trust in the nation.”

She said 27 years had passed, yet the people of Pakistan continue to keep their heads and they will continue to do so. “This is the day when Pakistan’s leadership under Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif chose national interest and public aspiration over global pressure.”

CM said, “Pakistan’s nuclear capacity is not only a strategic asset to the country, but a symbol of strength and pride for the whole Muslim world.” By Almighty Allah’s grace, Pakistan served the historical distinction of becoming the first Muslim nuclear power, “she said.

CM emphasized that “the enemy no longer dares to throw an evil eye on our country because of the bold and visionary decision made on May 28, 1998.
