YouTuber Ducky Bhai moves court to remove name from PNIL list

YouTuber Saadur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, has filed a petition to get his name removed from the PNIL list.

The petition was heard by Justice Naeem Wattoo of the Lahore District Courts.

The court sought a report from the National Cyber ​​Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) and adjourned the hearing to March 26.

According to the petition filed through his lawyer, Usman Latif Advocate, Saadur Rehman claimed that his name was included in the PNIL list illegally.

The petition further stated that the NCCIA did not issue any notices before adding his name to the list.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has granted bail to former Additional Director Sarfraz Chaudhry and co-accused Shoaib Riaz and Salman Aziz in a case involving alleged bribery linked to Ducky Bhai’s wife.

Justice Abher Gul Khan issued a detailed six-page judgment ordering the release of the accused on bail of Rs100,000 each.

According to the complainant, Sarfraz Chaudhry allegedly received a bribe of Rs 500,000. However, the court noted that the available evidence does not establish that Chaudhry directly received any amount from the complainant.

Earlier, YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Naniwala had approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking permission to travel abroad.

Both social media personalities have been named in cybercrime and other cases and are currently subject to travel restrictions. They have filed separate petitions asking for the ban on international travel to be lifted.

According to court documents, the petitions were filed through lawyers Barrister Raja Qadeer Janjua and Ahad Khokhar. The petitioners claim that their inclusion on the no-travel list is unjustified and has adversely affected their professional activities.

The petitions name the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the Secretary of the Interior and other relevant authorities as respondents. The court has been requested to issue immediate orders to remove their names from the travel restricted list.

Hearings on the petitions are expected soon at the IHC, after which it will be decided whether the two social media personalities will be allowed to travel abroad.
