Zach Bryan cancels show in Tulsa: Here’s why

Zach Bryan cancels show in Tulsa

Zach Bryan has been “forced” to cancel his show in Tulsa, Oklahoma tonight due to severe weather, and made it clear that the decision was completely out of his hands.

The country star announced the cancellation of his HA Chapman Stadium performance, part of his With Heaven on Tour, via social media, sharing that extreme and dangerous weather conditions left him with no choice.

“Five years of touring, I’ve never canceled a headlining show,” he wrote.

“I pissed off a lot of people this morning trying to ‘play anyway’. If I had anything to say about this, things would be different. I’m sorry and I love you all.”

Bryan also included a screenshot of a text from one of his crew that clearly described the situation: “I know you’re going to hate me for this, but we have no choice but to cancel the show,” the message read, referring to severe storms expected to hit Tulsa tonight with damaging wind gusts.

Fans can expect automatic refunds with no action required.

The cancellation marks a rare moment for Bryan, who has built a reputation as a relentless touring artist since breaking through.

He launched With the sky on tour at the beginning of March in St. Louis’ The Dome at America’s Center supporting his sixth album With the sky on top.

The Tulsa dates were meant to be a highlight of the run, though his second show at the same venue is still scheduled for tomorrow night.

From there he moves on to Lincoln, Starkville and Cleveland before wrapping up his US dates in May.

This will be followed by an overseas leg with shows in London, Belfast and Liverpool before returning to the US for final dates in San Diego, Toronto and Auburn, ending the tour on October 10.
