Samuel Howe, Zodia-Debt Manager, has left the London-based company for a position in traditional funding (Tradfi), the company said.
Howe had been employed as COO for the past 3 months according to his LinkedIn profile. Prior to this, he was head of operations at Crypto Custodian.
“Sam has left the company to return to traditional funding, this shows the oscillation of roles and skills between crypto and tradfi,” CEO Julian Sawyer said in an E email. “He is replaced by Sam Hill, who has worked with us in the last 18 months.”
Howe did not respond to a request for comment after publication time.
Before joining Zodia’s praming, Howe was leader of crypto surgery in Hedge Fund GSA Capital and was previously hired as head of the capital market’s operations with Asset Manager Coinhares (CS).
He worked for bank giant HSBC and Kleinwort Hambros before joining the crypto industry.
Howe founded a private Crypto-Hedgefond in 2020 that he has advised on an ongoing basis.
Zodia parenting authority is supported by Standard Chartered Bank (Stan), SBI Group, Northern Trust and National Australia Bank (NAB).
