Zoom has lifted the wrapping from the virtual agent to zoom phone so that companies can now use a 24/7 AI Concierge to replace or support existing receptionists.
The AI agent promises to greet callers naturally, process requests and initiate the next step without any human intervention, which helps reduce unanswered calls and keep times.
Available from launch in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Japanese (with multiple languages coming), Zoom says its virtual agent is able to effectively routing calling autonomously and get customers a step closer to a decision without a need for a human to pick up the phone.

“By combining AI that can listen, understand and intervene with range of Zoom Phone, our Concierge provides virtual agent with trouble -free and personal support for all callers,” explained Zoom Chief Product Officer Smita Hashim.
Zoom highlighted how companies can utilize the virtual agent’s huge time-saving forces without any expertise thanks to the setup without code-in the place, they can simply train the agent by uploading existing documents or pointing to a site.
“The result is a faster, more personal and more scalable experience for everyone,” Hashim added.
Some of the cases used by Zoom include booking agreements in healthcare, confirmation of shares and answering product questions in retail and delivery of updates in financial services.
At the same time, Zoom added new agent AI capabilities to its AI -Ledager feature, including a tool that handles meeting planning by finding appropriate times, coordinating invitations, tracking answers and suggesting alternatives.
