Zootopia Became a mega-hit for Disney, so nine years later, the network shares the trailer to the sequel and brings police back Judy and Nick back on a new mission.
Jason Bateman (Nick) and Gennifer Goodwin (Judy), who votes the characters’ faces, have a partner’s advice session at the start of the teaser that follows up with a crucial case they both need to resolve whether they will remain police partners.
In their mission, the duo meets new animal characters and situations as they chase an evasive snake named Gary De’snake, expressed by Ke Huy Quan.
The coming movie’s log line sounds, “After breaking the biggest case in Zootopia’s history, Rookie police Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde find that their partnership is not as solid as they thought when Chief Bogo orders them to participate in Partners in Crisis Counselling program.”
“It doesn’t take long for their partnership to be put on the ultimate test when they are on the twisting trace of a mystery tied to the arrival of a toxic snake in expensive metropolis,” the description says.
Bryan Howard acts as an instructor where Jared Bush writes the manuscript. “It has been an absolute pleasure to recreate with so many actors who made the first movie so special and so exciting to expand the world with our phenomenal new crew members,” the author adds.
“I can’t wait for the audience to see what other surprises we have in store in this brand new adventure,” he shares.
Zootopia 2 will be out on November 26th.
