“Then you know how I think about things when I have free time?” Kruk asked play-by-play man Tom McCarthy. “So I was wondering. The person who invented the clock, the first clock ever. How did that person know what time it was?”

McCarthy said it was a “really good question” when Alec Bohm reached the first base on a mistake from the second basseman at the bottom of the fourth lap. McCarthy then guessed that the person who created the clock could have used a sundial to calculate what time it was.

“Is that exactly?” Asked jugs.

The former first Baseman said he had no answer to his own question and thought he would ask McCarthy if he had answered.

The inventor of the watch is pretty difficult to find out. Old civilizations developed the first timing units. The first sundial and water clock were destined to have been used in 1200 BC. of the ancient Egyptians and Babylonians. Several inventors helped further develop the clock, as most people today have turned to digital devices over analog.

Kruk is definitely one to continue to ask world questions in the middle of baseball games. He is eager to find another brain buster to keep fans guessing.
