The Federal Minister of Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik and the United States accuses d’Affaires to Pakistan Natalie A Baker on Wednesday discussed ways to strengthen the bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, especially in oil, gas and minerals.

“The United States is required to work with Pakistan. The US Embassy will actively facilitate direct relations between US companies and their Pakistani colleagues in the Exploration & Production (E&P) to unlock this potential.”
According to a news message issued by the Ministry of Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik, the great interest of US investors welcomed and detailed the upcoming opportunities.
“Pakistan’s government makes a bid round for both offshore and onshore oil and gas research blocks, which provides a huge opportunity for international partners,” the minister said.
“Pakistan has significant unused slate oil and gas reserves, and to convert these original resources into concrete reserves is a measure of our government.” We are already engaged in a positive exchange of information with American companies, ”said Ali Pervaiz Malik.
