It goes without saying that the new Starz -original Outlander: blood of my blood is directly attached to the period drama Outlander. The latter plays Sam Heughan and Caitiona Balfe as Jamie and Claire, a couple who fall in love with Claire accidentally traveling back in time while on her honeymoon during World War II.
Outlander: Blood of my blood Follows a similar structure, but because it is a prequel series, with their parents, with each pair also transported to the past of the 18th century Scotland. However, we still do not know how directly intertwined both shows are, with the logically Claire could have met her parents without knowing it.
When I think about Outlander: blood of my blood Film recording, I can imagine that two separate casts that meet to share stories, swap world building tips and carefully chambers over the lifetime vessel that is acting. But when I ask stars Jeremy Irvine (Henry) and Hermione Corfield (Julia) what the best advice they got from Outlander Cast was, nothing could have prepared me for the answer. In short, my Thespian visions couldn’t be further away from the truth.
Balfe confirmed that she has actually spoken to both of them, but almost none of their immediate conversations were actually about acting. While I am eagerly waiting to see how Outlander: blood of my blood Unfolded me, I have a much clearer idea of what is happening at the location, including exactly how good catering is.
Outlander: Blood from my blood would not have any functioning advice but would like to know about catering on SET

“It’s so much fun because you meet other actors and you think we all want to talk about grades and so. We don’t. We just wonder if catering is good,” Irvine tells me. “How often do you run over every day? So most of the time when I saw the Caitiona, I was like,” How is the food? “That’s the kind of thing you go and check up.
That is not to say that discussions were only about food and food (although if they were, I would hardly blame them). Playing the same characters through multiple timelines is not the easiest thing to master, which means the couple had to decide how to approach Outlander: blood of my blood In its entirety (which also streams on MGM+ for those in the UK and Stan in Australia).
“It’s hard to play someone on time traveling because they constantly come up with challenges during the time they are in and they need to have a level of agency so they have to know what they are doing,” explains Corfield. “But also, if you were actually transported back in time, you would be completely scared. Probably curl up a ball and die, of course we can’t.”
Irvine adds: “We were talking about [the time traveling part of the show] very. The most important thing is that they just have to survive minute by minute. You know it doesn’t really think about the bigger picture. You don’t have time. You just go, ‘Right, how do I get through the next five minutes and survive to give me the best chance of getting back to the person I just lost?’ It’s really more to think about like that, rather than having time to have this great existential crisis. “
However, these two arrived at this conclusion, the result works. Outlander: blood of my blood Already making magic, and with the words of rupaul, I can’t wait to see how this turns out.
