American Idol is ready to return to season 24 with its three-judge panel, which includes Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood.
Although Remind me Singer debuted in season 23 after replacing Katy Perry, her co-panelist was linked to the reality show since season 16 in 2018.
“American Idol” has ranked like a top -muscle series during its eight seasons at ABC, which ends on a high note with last season’s final ranking # 1 at night, # 1 for the week of primetime and earns the best overall viewing audience of two years, “the press release reads.
“The series continues to dominate on social media as the No. 1 most social reality series across TV so far in 2025 and collects 1.65 plus billions of social video vision this year,” it added.
It has not been mentioned who hosts the show, which had otherwise been helped by Ryan Seacrest since its inception in 2002.
“Idol Across America” Auditions starts on Tuesday with a “First 900” VIP event before moving to Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana and all over the South “read the description.
“The auditions hit all 50 states plus Washington, DC, which ends on September 22 with Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Wyoming, before a nationwide open call on September 24,” the announcement noted.
American Idol Will be aired at ABC and Hulu in 2026.
