Pursuit of ‘Greater Israel’ threatens the region: Dar

Islamabad:

Pakistan on Monday mounted a strong termination of the “very escalating and dangerous” statements of larger Israel plans and warned that such statements risked throwing the entire region into even greater instability, while Gaza’s humanitarian tragedy was composed while Gaza’s humanitarian tragedy was composed.

In a strong address to the 21st extraordinary session in the Organic Cooperation Council for Foreign Ministers (OIC-CFM) in Jeddah-Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar warned the story will judge the Muslim world by its actions to prevent another nakba.

Dar issued a sharp condemnation of Israel’s recent provocative statements and revealed a comprehensive seven-point plan for Palestine. He repeated Pakistan’s support to the brotherly Arabic states from protecting their sovereignty from threats to their independence and territorial integrity.

The OIC-CFM meeting convened as Gaza continues to bleed. Dar described the Israeli act in Gaza a “systematic, deliberate and conscious violations of international law”, which was committed with impunity.

Dar appointed “brave brave of the so -called Israeli cabinet” to reveal an “ominous plan to expand Israel’s full military control over Gaza” and condemned the Israeli Prime Minister’s recent allusion to the creation of a ‘larger Israel’.

This said the Deputy Prime Minister gave a clear “insight into Israeli annexationist and junk thinking,” which posed a direct threat to Arab national security, state sovereignty and regional and international peace.

“Pakistan stands fully by their fraternal Arab states in protecting their sovereignty from threats to their independence and territorial integrity,” Dar claimed and fully supported a joint statement issued by 31 Arab countries and regional bodies condemning Benjamin Netanyahus “scandalous insinuation.”

Dar, who paints an uprising picture of the situation on Earth, declared that “Gaza has become a cemetery for innocent life as well as for international law.” He quoted the over 60,000 Palestinians killed – most of them women and children.

He condemned the systematic targeting of hospitals, schools and the UN facilities. “These were not random,” the Pakistani Foreign Minister told the Muslim world, “these are deficient actions with collective punishment in full worldview.”

He detailed a “full -scale humanitarian disaster” with Gaza, which lasted almost two years of arbitrary bombardment, a total blockade and “deliberate deprivation and hunger.” He felt the so -called humanitarian system a “cruel illusion.”

“Famine is violent, civilians are shot and try to collect food,” Dar said. Based on this, he added, the Palestinian question was a “lacquer test for the credibility of the so -called ‘rules -based order’.

He warned that “failure to maintain the rights of the Palestinian people will wipe out impunity and undermine the legitimacy of the order we all claim to defend.” When he repeated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Dar said, as long as Israel’s illegal “occupation lasts, peace will remain evasive.”

To break the cycle of violence and protect the global order, Dar formulated a detailed seven-point plan. First he called for an “immediate, permanent and unconditional ceasefire” with full implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution 2735.

Secondly, he demanded “unbound, sustained and secure humanitarian access,” and noted Pakistan’s own stable shipping of help. Thirdly, he urged renewed international support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) to Palestine.

Fourth, Dar demanded a “end of forced displacement, illegal settlement expansion, and annexing Palestinian soil,” warning that Israel’s intention of occupying Gaza City would be a “conscious attempt to wipe out Palestinian existence and inheritance.”

Fifth, he called for the implementation of the Arab and OIC-led reconstruction plan for Gaza. For the sixth, he pressed to resuscit a true political process for a two-state solution based on PRE-1967 limits with Al Qud Al-Sharif as its capital.

Seventh, and in the end, Foreign Minister Dar demanded “accountability for war crimes and crimes against humanity”, which insisted that Israel must not be allowed to trade with impunity in contradiction to international law and the international court (ICJ).

Dar reserved specific condemnation for actions in Jerusalem and said that “Any Descration of Al Aqsa mosque is an intolerable provocation.” He called the intrusion of Israeli officials to al-Qud’s al-Sharif a “deliberate attack on Muslim settlements” and a “direct challenge to the collective conscience of the Muslim Ummah.”

He called on the UN Security Council, as the primary body of global peace, to “impose a cost on Israel” and to adopt enforcement measures, including “the deployment of an international protection force to save the besieged population of Gaza.”

In his closing remarks, Dar framed the moment as a defining of the Muslim Ummah. “History would not judge them by their words, but by their actions,” he said.

“The Palestinian people are not seeking statements of sympathy; they need concrete measures to end their suffering and secure their liberation from Israeli occupation. OIC must rise to this challenge with unity, determination and purpose. Another nakba cannot and must not be allowed to happen.”

Dar, who confirms Pakistan’s commitment, said, “Palestine is a priority for Pakistan,” and as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, the country will continue to work with OIC and Arab partners to mobilize global support.

He emphasized that OIC must trade with urgent and determination and said, “It is time for credible act, to confirm our common obligation to a fair and lasting peace in the Middle East.”

On the sidelines for OIC-CFM, DAR met with the Saudi Foreign Minister to discuss the serious situation in Gaza, including the ongoing genocide, famine and the pressing need for a permanent ceasefire and reconstruction.
