Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s commitment have shaken sports and entertainment worlds, and congratulations pour in from far and wide for celebrity savings as they begin this next chapter of their love journey.
Among those who wanted the pair best, Brittany Mahomes, Kona to Kansas City Chief’s superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was on his Instagram stories to share his enthusiasm to hear the news.
“Two of the most real people meet and fall in love,” wrote the 29-year-old with a white heart and crying-happy-face emojier. “Just so fond of these two.”

Patrick Mahomes shared the joint Instagram post about his stories, adding three red hearts over the engagement photos that Kelce and Swift jointly shared on the social media app.
Brittany Mahomes and Swift share a strong friendship in which her husband recently tells journalists that Kelce and Swift called his wife after picking up the popular “New Heights” podcast episode.

“They didn’t call me. They called Brittany. I was on the back of Facetime,” Mahomes said at training camp while reflecting on the big announcement made on the show about his upcoming album, Life on a showgirl.
“Just knowing Taylor and being a little closer to the process of how she makes the albums, it will be great because of all the work she puts into it. And what a better place to advertise it than ‘New Heights’ podcast, where I feel like being herself and showing who she is.”
Brittany Mahomes and Swift’s friendship sprouted in recent years when the latter made his relationship with Kelce Public. Given Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, best friends are on and off the field, it only seemed right that their significant others would tie while they saw them on Gameeday, which is exactly what happened.
During the presidential election in 2024, there were rumors of a potential gap after Swift approved the then Vice President Kamala Harris, while Brittany Mahomes liked a post from President Donald Trump on Instagram and wrote several messages responding to critics.
These rumors were heated as they sat in separate suites during Chiefs’ first match of the 2024 season against Baltimore Ravens, and Trump himself added fuel to this fire after an interview about “Fox & Friends”, saying he liked Brittany “much better” than Swift.

But these rumors are clearly expelled now that the Mahomes family couldn’t be more excited about this next chapter with their friends.
Maybe Brittany Mahomes and Swift will be discovered once again as Chiefs starts their 2025 season campaign in Brazil against Los Angeles Chargers on September 5.
