H2 is made of a three-layer chassis shaped like a wide letter H, with a vibration-dampening rubber layer, which is squeezed between two caric layers, often used in kitchen work surfaces and made of a mixture of natural materials and acrylic resin. Here it is used as part of the vibration damping setup and it is also used for the dish.

H2 is the belt powered by a microprocessor-controlled synchronous motor, and it drives a corian dish on top of an aluminum subturns and a steel spindle on a ceramic ball bearing. The chassis sits on four thermoplastic feet.
