Commodity Futures Trading Commission – under its ongoing “Crypto Sprint” to open a wider path for us Crypto Business – on Thursday issued an advisor that companies residing outside the United States willing to register with the Agency, as foreign trade boards, can handle us directly with US customers.
“American companies that were forced to set up a store in foreign jurisdictions to facilitate crypto -asset trade now has a way back to US markets,” said CFTC -functioning President Caroline Pham in a statement with the counseling that made no changes to the agency’s policy, but was intended to serve as a “reminder” about a possible approach to such companies.
“Since the 1990s, Americans have been able to trade with non-American exchanges registered with CFTC as FBOTS.
