- Fly More Combination Content and EURO -Price Fastening Apparently Found
- Launch list with launch revealed too
- DJI Mini 5 Pro is expected to officially be launched in September
As the rumored DJI Mini 5 Pro launch is still getting closer, what was a steady stream of leaks has become more like a furious torrent.
This week has seen lots of interesting information wasted out of the online rumor mill. For starters, there is the emergence of a new video animation that apparently shows the ultra-lightweight drone that folds and unfolds, as posted on X (formal Twitter) of trusted drone tipster Jasper Ellens.
Unexpectedly, #Mini5Pro #FlyMore may cost exactly the same as the current #Mini4Pro. This video was also found in DJI Beta software today that suggested a release in mid-September? Let’s break down these leaks: Cheers! pic.twitter.com/18r6qbuhcqAugust 26, 2025
Ellens has also found evidence, hidden in the code for certain European web shops and posted on its website Dronexl, which points to the pricing for DJI Mini 5 Pro Fly More Combo Bundle. For € 1129, it is exactly the same as the current retail price for the DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo – which is good news, considering the Mini 5 Pro seems to offer quite a upgrade over its predecessor. (For reference, the current US and British prices for Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo respectively $ 1758 and £ 979.)
Previous rumors strongly point out that the Mini 5 Pro comes with Lidar on board and a camera with a 1-inch sensor-to-main feature shock over what has been available on previous models in the mini series.
Plus points
Ellens then followed up on these leaks with another, twitret a picture of what seems to be the retail packaging DJI Mini 5 Pro Fly More Combo itself – or rather Fly More Combo Plus. This bundle apparently includes the RC 2 controller and three flight battery plus units, each providing enough power for up to 52 minutes of flight.
A retail book image seems to show DJI Mini 5 Pro #Drone packed with @djiglobal RC 2 -Controller with a built -in screen that enhances continuous leakage -covering from dronexls #djirors hub and reporting from @jasperellens.https: //t.co/88ycmgiann hub and reporting from @jasperellens.https: //t.co/88ycmgiann hubAugust 28, 2025
It seems that buyers will have a choice between a regular fly more combination with standard batteries and this one that offers more flight time. It will be interesting to see if these plus batteries are heavier and increase the starting weight beyond the magic 250 g border. My guess is that they will, and therefore will not be of great use to buyers who want to take advantage of the reduced papers and limitations around ultra-letting tones.
Packing usually does not occur until very close to the launch, so if this leak is real, I would expect DJI to officially advertise the Mini 5 Pro in the next few weeks. With a mid-September release date, we can have a confirmation of all the drone’s features, specifications and price very soon.
