Frankenstein Is close to Guillermo del Toro’s heart, it seems that the director reveals the length he went to make the film.
As the film has wrapped the filming and is ready to be released on Netflix, the filmmaker, in an easy -hearted way, joked, “I’m in Postpartum depression.”
It is worth pointing out that there had been versions of Mary Shelley’s novel in the past.
But as for Guillermo’s roof, he himself shared his love for the story.
“I’ve been following the creature since I was a kid. I was waiting for the film to be performed in the right conditions,” the filmmaker said at a press conference on the upcoming film.
He continued, “both creatively in terms of achieving the scope to do it differently and do it on a scale that you could reconstruct the whole world.”
However, touching the overview of his vision of the film, Guillermo, rejected the notion that the story something gives a nod to the potential dangers AI bags – given that the film is about a scientist’s abuse of technology.
“We live in a time of terror and threats, definitely trying the film to show imperfect characters.”
“And the right thing, we have to stay imperfect, and the right thing we need to understand each other in the most oppressive circumstances,” he said, noting, “I’m not afraid of artificial intelligence. I’m afraid of natural stupidity.”
Prior to landing on Netflix on November 7, Frankenstein Gets a limited release in cinemas on October 17th.
