The highest paid player in the NFL responded to the new highest paid non-quartal in the NFL, which is traded from his Dallas cowboys.

Micah Parsons, traded for Green Bay Packers, is still a shock to some, even three days after Jerry Jones fulfilled the All-Pro’s commodity. As a result, Packers released a massive four-year, $ 188 million deal, which became an NFL record for most money paid for a non-quartal.

Dak Prescott, Parsons’ former teammate and the highest paid player in the league after receiving his desired long -term extension Last Offseason, talked about the Parsons being treated.

“I certainly didn’t think he would be traded,” he said pr. Athletic. “But just with the way their negotiations went down, obviously to some extent. It seemed like it was personal on their ends, so that’s why I wasn’t surprised.”

Prescott added that he is glad that there was a final result for the tension created between Parsons and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

“If nothing was done, we would sit here and you would still have asked me if he was playing in a few days or when he was going to play,” Prescott said via Dallas Morning News. “It would have been much more of headaches and distractions than getting a solution to it.”

Prescott expressed earlier confidence that Parsons would get a deal a lot, just as he and star width recipient Ceedee Lamb was last out of season. He also thought it would be done before Dallas started against Philadelphia Eagles this Thursday.

But the Blockbuster trade was official this last Thursday, with Cowboys securing Packers’ next two round elections as well as the All-Pro Defensive Tackle Kenny Clark in exchange for Parsons.

Jones had declared that he would not put too much concern in the Parsons’ trade request. But he justified the trade after doing it on Thursday and said that the move was made with a focus on success for the team now and in the future.

When Cowboys and its fanbase treated the shocking trait, Prescott said he simply told Parson’s “good luck” while revealing the two shared some messages with each other after the trade. Players like Lamb and Trevon Diggs also wanted Parsons Luck.

However, cowboys will see him this season, but Prescott has to worry about Parsons rushing pocket in week 4 on “Sunday Night Football.”
