Florida State was fined $ 50,000 after fans stormed the pitch after Saturday’s 31-17 win over Alabama and became the first team in ACC to received the fine after the conference’s political change in July.

“In accordance with the ACC policy, Florida State will pose a $ 50,000 fine for a first offense.”
ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips announced the July Political Change, which limits fans to storming the field in football and men’s and men Women’s Basketball.

ACC is not the first conference to implement policies intended to avert fans from storming the field or court.
