Imran says the dialogue must remain open

Rawalpindi/Peshawar:

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday borrowed the reports on Tuesday that efforts are underway to open a path of reconciliation with the establishment of his release as he reiterated that dialogue should always remain open to political and democratic solutions.

After the meeting with Imran, who is currently detained in Rawalpindis Adiala prison, PTI chairman Gohar Ali Khan media told the PTI founder is available for dialogue. “However, the founder has made it clear that his release will only be on legal means, not offers,” said Gohar.

Tuesday, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) confirmed Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur who belongs to PTI

He said earlier, some overseas Pakistanis had tried to convey reconciliation on their own, but the ultimate decision rests exclusively with the PTI founder in response to questions from some journalists.

“The most important questions are: Should there be conversations or not, who should lead them and under what reference conditions? These decisions lie only with the founder,” he said.

According to Gandapur, if any party leader by the name of anyone, but the founder did not agree, the case could not continue. “Lectures can only move forward if the founder himself nominates someone or agrees with a name,” he said.

He added that although it can be said that efforts were made to reconcile between the establishment and the PTI founder, it was difficult to identify someone as a broker, as none other than the founder had authority to approve such an engagement.

In Rawalpindi, PTI chairman Barristist Gohar Ali Khan has said that the party’s founder has instructed legislators who retired from standing committees to also return official vehicles with drivers.

He added that Imran has approved the party’s decision to boycott by election and emphasized that the Kalabagh dam should be built with consensus among all provinces. Gohar said he and Zaheer Abbas Chaudhry had met the former prime minister and found him in good health and high mood.

“The founder appreciated the party’s decision to boycott the election and said that is how it should be. He also instructed those who resign from committees to give back cars, drivers and keys, making it clear that resignation will not be withdrawn,” he said.

He said IMRAN expressed grief over deaths caused by the recent earthquake in Afghanistan, expressed concern about the repatriation of Afghan refugees and instructed the party to extend full support to flooding victims. “He has assigned CM Gandapur the responsibility of holding a public rally in September.”

When we speak with reference to opposition leaders in the National Assembly and the Senate-Omar Ayub and Shibli Faraz-AS were seated last month after their beliefs in May 9 cases, Gohar said, “As long as Omar and Shibli have residence orders, they remain our leaders”.

He quoted Imran Khan and said, “People are spreading rumors of my health – I’m fine.”

Gohar said for three years that the PTI founder had sought dialogue, but the government’s committee showed no seriousness.
