- The first trailer to Marvel zombies has been released
- Marvel’s next animated TV show arrives fully on September 24
- It will be the GORIEST DISNEY+ project published by the comic book giant
The first trailer to Marvel zombies Has been released online – and it may be the first animated Disney+ project from the cartoon that I’m really excited about.
A continuation of the story depicted in What if …? Season 1 Section 4, titled ‘What If … Zombies!?’, Marvel zombies was originally scheduled to arrive in October.
However, Marvel Studios recently confirmed Marvel zombies will debut on September 24th. And with only three weeks left (at the time of writing), until it is sent, Comic Titan has finally given us our first glimpse of the show in action.
Look at
Shocking None, Marvel zombies‘Art style is identical to that of What if …?. It has led to disappointed reactions from some viewers who had hoped it would move away from the latter shows dividing aesthetics.
It would still have been weird if Marvel zombies debuted with a completely different look to What if …? and caused potentially confusion as to why Marvel chose to move away from his JC Leyendecker-inspired visuals for a mini-series expanded to a story that began in What if …?.
Fan -Debates about the show’s aesthetic in spite of there are plenty of reasons why Marvel zombies‘First Trailer has given rise to a U-turn in my and other fans’ opinions about the upcoming series.
For starters, it’s great to see Marvel actively leaning into history’s ultraviolet trends.
Of course, high levels of Gore do not automatically make a movie or TV show better than a less cruel production. However, we have been starved by full-blown R-classified projects from Marvel.
Daredevil: Born again” s first season, Werewolf at nightand Deadpool and Wolverine have their moments but Marvel zombies‘Initial teaser looks like it will go beyond what any of these Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) projects did.
Just look at Spider-Man decapitating zombies with his lanes. Or someone who has their heart beaten through their chest of a bearded zombie. Or leaf Knight slices an immortal Ava Starr/Ghost.
When we talk about Blade Knight, it comes as no surprise that he is a mash-up of Moon Knight and Leaves in this alternative reality (NB: Obviously, though it may be writing, Marvel zombies does not take place in MCU).
For those of us who have become tired of waiting for Mahershala Ali to debut as magazines, Marvel zombies is official the first time we see the iconic daywalker in a Marvel Studios project (no, his off-screen, voice-kun como in the 2021s Eternals Does not count, nor do Wesley sniper who reprise his role as leaf in Deadpool and Wolverine). Based on the amount of screentime he gets in this trailer, I am willing to bet that he will also have a significant role to play.
The only disappointing about Blade’s performance in this Marvel phase 6 production? He is not expressed by Ali. Todd Williams portrays Blade Knight in Marvel zombies And while he is a sensational actor in his own right, it is a shame that Marvel not capitalized fans’ desire to see Ali in a Marvel project by getting him to vote Blade Knight instead.
Marvel zombies However, have brought back almost every actor to play their respective MCU character in this show.
Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova), David Harbor (Red Guardian), Iman Vellani (Mrs. Marvel), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) and Hailee Steinfeld (Kate Bishop) are just some of the big name stars that will repeat their roles. Even Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Scarlet Witch, is on board. Marvel zombies‘Stacked role crew can therefore be reason enough to check it out if you are still sitting on the fence about it.
I don’t expect Marvel zombies To be perfect. I know its animation style will occasionally abound me. It will also its grainy humor if it has been transferred from ‘What if … Zombies!?’.
For a show, however, I had little interest in the fact that its trailer won me over and showed why I should catch it when it was released on one of the world’s best streaming services.
After the relative disappointments of other recent Marvel -animated projects – What if …? wasn’t as good as I hoped, Your friendly neighborhood spider-man were hit and miss, and Eyes of Wakanda Was pretty boring – I hope Marvel zombies will surprise us all and be consistently good everywhere. If it is not, it may be time to bury any other marvel -animated production except X-Men 97.
