- Thrustmaster has revealed the T248R racing wheel to PS5, PS4 and PC
- It has adjustable power feedback and a customized LCD screen
- Its included pedals are also driven by the brand’s heart technology
Gaming -hardware manufacturer Thrustmaster has revealed the T248R racer wheel. A successor of the Thrustmaster T248, this new wheel will be compatible with PS5, PS4 and PC.
Pre -orders begin today on the Thrustmaster’s website where the wheel costs $ 349.99 / £ 269.99. It is then released a few weeks later on September 17, 2025. It is cheaper than similar mid-class wheels as Logitech G923 ($ 399.99 / £ 349.99) and the T248 predecessor (launched at $ 399.99 / £ 299.99).
Maybe the prominent feature of the Thrustmaster T248R is its adjustable power feedback. Thrustmaster describes these as ‘boost’ levels, with each offer of different degrees of intensity. This can be useful if you want a smoother experience for circuit racers like Gran Turismo 7At or an uneven trip to, say, EA SPORTS WRC.
An updated LCD screen also appears here, and this is where you can adjust the aforementioned Force feedback settings, as well as see Real-time Race Info as lap times and current speed. The display also seems to be quite customized, with thrustmaster stating that it offers 20 bites of view information that can presumably be cycled through.
T248R also comes with a set of pedals; T-15 PM pedal set. These are driven by Thrustmaster’s own Heart Hall Effect technology, which means they have a contactless connection to avoid any unpleasant operation or wear of internal components. Brake resistance can also be adjusted here for your comfort.
It’s back to see if T248R will land on our best PS5 Racing Wheels Guide, but Thrustmaster has a strong track record when it comes to the best racing wheels. As such, this can be a solid medium -sized option that at least slightly undermines the competition in terms of pricing.
