- Openai reveals new job platform launching mid -2026
- Certifications are coming soon to back up the Academy Training
- Openai wants to certify 10 million Americans in 2030 in line with US endeavors
Openai has revealed two new schemes designed to prepare the current workforce for the future of AI-assisted roles.
The new Openai Jobs Platform and Openai certifications will be launched in the coming months, as Chatgpt Maker declares that it wants to support workers who are likely to be displaced by AI by making them more “fluid.”
Openai CEO for Applications Fidji Simo already highlighted the solid work Openai has done democratizing access to generative AI by offering a free version of Chatgpt, but the company acknowledged that there is more to do.
Openai will soon have a job platform and training options
“We want to put AI, and the power that comes with it in the hands of as many people as possible,” Simo wrote.
The company admitted that AI can be disruptive and while it cannot eliminate this disturbance, it can at least prepare workers for the upcoming change.
Expected to be launched in mid-2026, the Openai Jobs platform will act as an AI-driven employment platform to match companies with workers that are skilled at AI. Simo emphasized that it would be as useful for smaller recruiters as it would be for larger companies.
To create these AI-professed workers, the company also plans to launch Openai certifications that will set a new standard to verify competence and reassure tenants.
Coming as a pilot at the end of 2025, it will demonstrate different levels of fluid in support of the newly launched Openai Academy, offering free online courses that have already helped more than two million people.
Openai claims to have assessed which elements of worker copies have worked in the past: “We make sure that the education we offer is deeply rooted in understanding the employer’s needs and what skills they need to see in workers so that we can better match supply and demand.”
The two new programs are launched to support continuous efforts at the White House to improve AI reading skills – Openai has committed to certify 10 million Americans by 2030.
Openai confirmed with Techradar Pro That these new launches are only intended for the United States at the moment.
