- Oukitel WP61 Plus is doubled as a Walkie-Talkie for areas where mobile signals are not available
- The display of 6.8 inch 120Hz is tailored to smoother outdoor visuals
- A 20,000 mAh battery could deliver several days of continuous operation
Oukitel has introduced the WP61 Plus on IFA 2025, a robust smartphone designed for outdoor professionals requiring expanded power and versatile communication tools.
The device has a 6.8 -inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 and a 120Hz update speed.
The large panel is built for smoother visuals, whether used for navigation apps, video playback or field mapping software.
20,000 mAh battery designed for extended off-grid use
The WP61 Plus works on Android 16.0 and is equipped with full-tape 5G connection to wide network compatibility.
Its dimensions are 179.5 x 84.7 x 27.2 mm, a size that reflects the need to accommodate its large 20,000 mAh battery and additional hardware.
The device is finished in black and complies with the typical sturdy smartphone aesthetics that prioritize durability and practical rather than visual appeal.
Drive the unit is an MTK Dimensity 7025 processor, supported by either 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB storage space or 16 GB RAM with 512 GB of storage.
Camerahardware is unusual for robust smartphones with a 108MP primary sensor supported by an 8MP NAT lens and a 2MP macro setting.
On the front, the piston hole houses a 32MP sensor, a specification that is more typical of the mainstream business than robust models.
The most distinctive feature is perhaps the 20,000 mAh battery that is classified for 45W charging, with estimates suggest that with moderate use, such capacity could deliver several days of operation without recharge.
Its size also allows the WP61 plus to act as a portable power bank capable of charging devices with lower demand, such as smartwatches or fitness ribbon.
This potential for double function makes it convenient for expanded fieldwork or camping situations where conventional access access is limited, even if the company did not mention a reverse charging function.
For communication, Oukitel integrates WP61 plus a “Walkie -Talkie (DMR 2W)” feature that offers a direct method of contact in remote areas where network signals are weak or inaccessible.
The inclusion of a seat charger also suggests that Oukitel intends that the phone works in docked setups, possibly for fleet or inventory operations.
Additional features include a camping light, a speaker, a fingerprint sensor, NFC and a gyroscope.
Oukitel WP61 Plus will officially hit the market in November or December 2025, but whether it succeeds will depend on how reliably its large specifications work under conditions in the real world, where durability, longevity and consistent performance mean more than raw talk.
