Arch Manning put together a confidence-boosting game on Saturday, jumping back from a close loss against Ohio State in his season of 2025 last week.
Manning and Texas Longhorns topped San Jose State Spartans, 38-7.

Star Quarterback was 19-of-30 with 295 passing yards, four touchdown passes and an eavesdropping. All four of his touchdown pass came in the first half. Parker Livingstone and Jack Endries had two touchdown -catches each. The passing of Livingstone was in 83 yards.
Manning spoiled after a touchdown in the second half.
He complained some of Texas’ slurvy “games, according to Burnt Orange Nation. Longhorns turned the ball over twice and was 2-for-12 on the third down. He went so far to say his own performance was” not very good. “

Still, it was a complete turn from last week when Manning fought against Buckeyes – who entered the game like the defending national masters and was ranked No. 1 in the nation after their victory.
Of course, the hype around Manning has been tangible. He came into the year with high expectations, considering how well he was playing in high school, and he seemed to perform well in the scenarios he was thrown in the first two years of his college career.
He tried to keep Texas in the game as much as he could against Ohio State, but the defense was just too hard for him. Against San Jose State, Manning was pressed and had a turnover. But he was able to drift through and cut down on some of the mistakes.

Texas will face UTEP next week.
