Eminem has opened up to the moment that changed his life.
A new report on Radaronline.com mentioned that the 52-year-old rapper revealed in a new documentary what led him to become sober.
Reportedly, an almost fatal overdose of the drug was awakening call for the rapper to get his action just after years of prescription abuse of pill.
“I got into this evil cycle of,” I’m depressed, so I need more pills, “admitted the real slim shady crooner.
“Then your tolerance gets so high that you end up with overdose. I woke up in the hospital and didn’t know what happened,” he explained.
He continued to remember, “I had a stir in me and I couldn’t move – I would get up, but I couldn’t.”
It is relevant to mention that at that time Eminem had taken up to 20 pills a day a habit that started in the late 1990s and lasted until about 2008.
Overdose left them closest to him who fears brain damage and was unsure if he would ever rap again.
The touring point came when he realized how much of his family life he lost.
