TV Networks told to avoid reactions to Trump’s performance at the US Open: Report

President Donald Trump participates in the US Open Men’s Singles Final on Sunday afternoon more than 10 years after he first launched a campaign for the White House.

Television networks set to broadcast Trump’s arrival at the event at Flushing Meadows in New York City were allegedly asked to refrain from broadcasting any boos or cheering to him.

Bounces, a tennis-focused substance, first reported that the US Tennis Association (USTA) sent the directive to the TV stations.

“With regard to broadcast coverage, the president appears on the World Feed and the Ashe Court feed during the opening of the anthemous ceremony,” the message allegedly reads. “We ask all TV stations to refrain from showing disturbances or reactions in response to the president’s participation in any capacity, including meadow [Electronic News Gathering] cover. “

Usta said it regularly asks its TV companies to avoid showing disturbances from the field.

The American men’s final will take place between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. Sinner won the event last year and defeated American Taylor Fritz.

The president has a big sports week. He is scheduled to participate in New York Yankees’ games next week on the 24th anniversary of the terrorist attacks 11 September. He also wrote that he would attend the Ryder Cup at the end of the month.
