- The AM0s are already over 200% crowdfunded at launch
- A hinged 4-inch screen separates this mini-PC apart right away
- Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 forces heavy workloads with ease, while Radeon 890m graphics give muscles for games
Ayaneo Am01’s Mini PC has started crowdfunding on Indiegogo with a design that differs from typical compact computers.
The unit price of this unit is $ 499, and at the time of writing, 18 bakers have promised a total of HKD 104,230 (about $ 13,400), which has already reached 208% of Ayaneos HKD 50,000 (about $ 6400) flexible target, with 55 days still back in the campaign.
Many systems in this category focus on discreet form factors and quiet operation, but Ayaneo has instead chosen to add a secondary 4-inch touch screen mounted on a hinge.
Hardware and performance features
The screen tilts from 0 to 90 degrees so that the device can stand vertically or lie flat depending on how it is used, and can act as an extended Windows screen, making it one of the few compact devices to integrate a built-in panel for fast monitoring or light interaction.
In the heart of the system is the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, a 12-core, 24-thread part paired with DDR5 5600MT/S Memory and PCIe 4.0 SSD storage options.
Graphics come from Radeon 890m built on RDNA 3.5 with 16 calculation units, which should provide sufficient capacity for 1080p games and demanding workload.
Ayaneo states that this provides a 20% benefit increase over previously integrated graphics solutions.
To maintain stability, the AM01S has a double-fan cooling system with heating pipes and an additional fan dedicated to SSD.
Maintaining a 65-watt processor in such a small chassis is ambitious, which raises questions about how effective the thermal design works under extended heavy loads.
The inclusion of an NPU capable of delivering 50 peaks shows that this machine is not designed exclusively for entertainment.
Tasks such as a large language model inference and AI-enhanced creative workloads should benefit from faster answers.
Connection options suggest additional professional ambitions with double 2.5 g of ethernet gates and a full-speed USB4 connection.
This makes the system suitable for those who need high -speed networks and fast external storage access, suggesting that Ayaneo hopes to place the device as more than one news.
The CNC-Machinated aluminum body gives the system a durable sensation, while magnetic fastened port covers tries to combine practical with pure aesthetics.
By hiding unused connections, the device presents a tidy workstation appearance when implemented.
The unusual flip-screen arrangement can fit people who prefer a compact surveillance panel without needing a full external screen.
Ayaneo Am01’s Mini PC’s early financing success does not guarantee smooth delivery as many similar projects have been subjected to delays or compromises when production begins.
