Lahore:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday expressed deep grief over the loss of life in a lifeboat tragedy in Jalalpur Pirwala and instructed the authorities concerned to make relief efforts in the flooded areas more effective.
He emphasized that timely and extensive help should be secured for all displaced persons.
He also instructed coordination and cooperation with provincial governments to be further strengthened to improve rescue and relief operations.
When he highlighted the broader challenge, the prime minister said that Pakistan continued to suffer the harmful effects of climate change
