It was the second straight game that Rodgers had thrown four touchdown passes. He did it in week 18 against Miami Dolphins in his last game with Jets.
Rodgers was asked if there was more importance to beat Jets this time since New York’s head coach Aaron Glenn did not think Rodgers was right for the team.
“I was happy to beat everyone who was affiliated with Jets,” he said.

Rodgers added that he didn’t really have anything to prove. He just wanted “fun” with his new teammates.
“No, I just wanted to have fun today. I mean I dreamed of the opportunity to go back on the field during the peak season and wonder how it would feel,” he said. “Would the juices flow, and would it hit my competition spirit.

“There were many moments that I was on the sidelines just for myself, thanks to my wife and my friends for encouraging me to make time with my decision and that this would be the right decision. I’m glad to be a steeler and happy things went like they did today.”
