Keegan-Michael Key recently became honest about working with Steve Martin and Martin Short I Only murder in the building Season 5.
The 54-year-old American actor and comedian opened for his enthusiasm for the fifth season of Only murders in the building, especially to share the screen with Martin and cards in a talk with PEOPLE magazine.
Key said, “It’s a nice thing in our business when you can go into a set where everything is running really smoothly and everyone is warm and inviting. It was a wonderful project to work on.”
He added, “I think the season is very apropos of things that are happening in our community right now.”
The Wonka Star continued to admit that “working with Steve Martin and Martin Short is an absolute joy. Not only from being overwhelmed by nostalgia or how big a fan I am of them both – they are also just lovely men. They are both very unique in their own way.”
In particular, the regular stars in the series have returned to season five, which includes Selena Gomez, Meryl Streep, Michael Cyril Creighton, Short, Jackie Hoffman and Da’vine Joy Randolph.
“You really just see their real friendship that appears on the camera. It’s fascinating to see. And because this group has been together for so long now, it’s like a well -known machine,” Key noted.
It is relevant to mention that Only murder in the building Season 5 was released on September 9, 2025 at Hulu.
