Apple’s Big iPhone 17 event is over -and there was plenty for Apple Watch fans to get excited about. We got the Apple Watch Ultra 3 and the series 11 as expected, and we also saw a new Apple Watch see – then a whole series of updates to the best Apple Watches. Even the new AirPods Pro 3 got fitness features.
Between the three new models, the new features and the very important pricing, there was a lot of news across fans of everything health and fitness can take, and if you missed out on something, don’t worry as I repeat everything you need to know right here.
1. Apple Watch Series 11
Apple’s thinnest new watch, Apple Watch Series 11, is even more durable than its hardy predecessor, with a custom ceramic coating twice as scratch resistant. The series 11 finally gets 5G connection to LTE models, made possible by a new antenna architecture that is more effective than ever, using smaller battery under cellular compound.
The new watch, known as flow, uses Apple’s floating glass design language to break colors as if they were real. Another new watch surface called Exactograph separates hours, minutes and seconds in an ultra -spy aesthetic.
The long rumor LED blood pressure function has landed in the form of hypertension. Using data from Apple’s heart and movement survey with 100,000 participants, Apple expects to identify a million cases of possible hypertension in the first year, although it does not detect all cases.
Sleep tracking improves with the new sleep result, though I would hardly call this feature revolutionary – Apple must be the last laptop on Planet Earth to introduce it! Sleep duration, bedtime consistency and interrupt data give you a sleep result out of 100, supported with insights from sleep experts.
Finally the prominent feature: 24 hours of battery life! Finally an upgrade from the old, warm 18 hours. The Apple Watch Series 11 is available in Jet Black, Rose Gold and Space Gray, and users have the option of 100% recycled aluminum or titanium plus new colors for ribbons and loops, new Hermes bands. It starts at $ 399 / AU $ 679 (about £ 300).

2. Apple Watch Ultra 3
Yes, it looks the same at first glance, but more is going on under the hood. A new wide-angle OLED screen means a brighter, increased screen area without changing the case, making it the biggest screen ever on an Apple Watch.
The display is more often updated in always-on mode and shows a new waypoint surface. Like the series 11, it offers 5G cellular and as rumored, satellite connection. Just a few taps gather critical information and offer emergency notification functions, and to activate satellite connection, the in-watch radio has been redesigned to double signal strength.
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 also gets a battery life boost where Apple promises a massive 42 hour battery life. Case settings are the sexy titanium black that was introduced last year with the brushed natural titanium from previous editions. This titanium is 100% recycled and is said to be designed using an innovative 3D printing process. It also gets new band colors, and the aforementioned new hypertension and sleep score features. Pricing starts at $ 799 / AU $ 1,399 (about £ 700).
3. Apple Watch see 3
See 3-upgrade offers core features and benefits of an Apple Watch at its most affordable price, and gets the same powerful chip as the current GEN Apple Watches, S10. It always offers on the display and supports movements such as double pressure and wrist flick introduced in previous years.
See 3 adds multiple wellness features such as a wrist temperature feeling (activation of cycle tracking), the VITALS app, sleep apnea -detection and sleep score. It even plays media!
There is no increase in the life of the battery with SE 3, which is stuck at 18 hours as its predecessor, but it gets quickly charging – only 15 minutes of juice adds eight hours. Apple Watch SE 3 comes in Starlight and Midnight and starts at $ 249 / AU $ 399 (about £ 200).
4. AirPods Pro 3
More people train with AirPods Pro than any other headphones in the world, and Apple has leaned into it with the new AirPods 3 Pro containing heartbeat during exercise. Apple’s smallest heart rate sensor is included in these small headphones and uses machine learning algorithms to process data from sensors and accelerometers.
AirPods Pro 3 can be used with the training app along with Apple Fitness+, collecting data just like an Apple Watch. You can earn badges and dense movement rings, track training in the gym from apps like ladder and even use the AI training buddy – all without a watch.
