- Serial Leaker claims to know European prices for DJI Mini 5 Pro
- Claims flying more combination will include ND Filter Set
- US launch seems unlikely to another DJI product
It’s been less than a week since our last news story about the rumor DJI Mini 5 Pro, but the stable flow of leaked information about and pictures of DJI’s next ultra -wing drone means it’s time for another update.
This time, the leaked info concerns the drone’s pricing and release date. As always with such things, we encourage you to take the information with a pinch of salt like, until DJI itself officially launches the Mini 5 Pro, all this remains speculation.
That said, when the information comes from trusted and productive leaks that rarely get things wrong, we sit up and take notice. Such a delicious is Jasper Ellens who writes on Dronexl, and this week he released a story that claimed that “reliable sources” had promised him that DJI would launch the Mini 5 Pro on September 16, 2025. Yes, next week.
Found some lovely close -ups of the soon -to -be released #mini5pro … and I expect teaser #tomorrow because the launch will surely be the 16th! Will this be @djiglobal last mini? Cheers! Https: //t.co/3dy3kmxud1September 8, 2025
He continues to mention that other sources (leaking retail sites, extracted to proof) suggest accessibility in the store on September 17 and says a list for Mini 5 Pro only delivered with a Screenless RC-N3 Remote Controller, had a price of € 799 (about $ 935 / £ 690 / AU $ 1,415).
Ellens also believes that the DJI Mini 5 Pro Fly More Combo will include an RC2 touch screen controller and ND filter set (along with the usual three batteries, charging cradle and carrying bag) and start at € 1129 (approx. $ 1,320 / £ 975 / AU $ 2,000).
It seems like a fairly affordable price for a drone with the rumored features of the Mini 5 Pro, as a 1-inch sensor and full omnidirectional obstacle of obstacle plus front facing lidar.
Bad news for us drone pilots?
Unfortunately for US-based drone fans, Ellens also believes that the DJI Mini 5 Pro is not officially available in the states. Given that DJI has not launched any of its recent products there, this is a rumor that we certainly will say, seems likely – although the company has always maintained that it is currently looking for viable ways to launch its drones, action cameras and more in the United States.
If Ellens’ information is accurate and the Mini 5 Pro is launched next week, we will probably see a teaser drawn on the company’s official social media channels. These things typically happen a few days ahead of a DJI product launch, so if something is sent in the coming days, we know a new drone will come in to land very soon.
