LHC convenes NAB -President of Disturbed Case

Lahore:

Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday called the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman to act in person on September 15, along with the complete case record in a contempt for litigation.

A bench with two members led by Chief Justice heard the petition filed by lawyer Ahsan Abid.

The petitioner claimed that Khusro Bakhtiar and Hashim Jawan Bakht had assembled illegal assets, and despite filing a request to NAB for a study, the Bureau failed to act. He claimed that Nab had not disposed of the complaint despite clear directions, similar to contempt of court.
