Sage Steele Calls Great Sports Leagues for Silence on Charlie Kirk’s death

Many in the sports world were shaken by the murder of Charlie Kirk on Wednesday.

Numerous figures, including Jake Paul, Julian Edelman, Jaxson Dart, and more offered all their prayers and compassion to Kirk, who were killed at the age of 31.

However, the former ESPN analyst Sage Steele Ligas and teams shouted to be silent, contrary to what they did when George Floyd was killed.

“Dear Pro Sports Leagues: Looking forward to seeing you release statements and sending compassion to Charlie Kirk’s family after he was murdered for his political faith. You know – just as you did when career – criminal George Floyd died, stood steel on social media.

She noticed NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB and NHL in her post. Pakinomist Digital reached out to the leagues for comment.

Steele praised New York Yankees for having a moment of silence for the activist.

Local Minnesota teams also offered compassion when two democratic lawmakers were killed earlier this year.

Other sports figures that weighed in after Kirk were originally shot included NFL legend Brett Favre, former Pittsburgh Steelers star Antonio Brown and Leveon Bell, former NFL -Greed Receiver Golden Tate, Heisman Trophy -Winner Tim Tebow, Yanke’s world champion Mark Ryan GarciaAuburn Basketball coach Bruce Pearl, former MLB -Pitcher John Rocker, Sports Missing Michelle Tafoya and Sports Illustrated Journalist Albert Breer.

The sports world responds to Charlie Kirk shooting death: ‘Beans for his family’

President Donald Trump announced Kirk’s death at 1 p.m. 16.40 A Wednesday.

“The great and even legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the heart of youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by everyone, especially me, and now he is no longer with us. Melania and my sympathy go out to his beautiful wife Erika and family. Charlie, we love you!” Trump wrote.

Video sent from the event looked to show that Kirk was shot when he was talking with the crowd from under a white pop-up tent.

Kirk was scheduled to perform at Utah Valley University on Wednesday as part of his “American Comback Tour” with another stop at Utah State University later this month.
