Green Bay Packers had another commanding victory to begin the new season and take down the Washington commanders, 27-18, to start 2-0 a year.
Packers defeated Detroit Lions in week 1 at home, and Lambeau Field’s first night game in the campaign had a sold -out audience who loved what they saw from Matt Lafleur’s team on Thursday night.
Meanwhile, after looking good in their season opener against New York Giants, the commander’s violation was flusted against a Packer’s defense that shone in week 1.

After looking good in their seasonal opener against New York Giants, the commander’s violation was flusted against a Packer’s defense shining in week 1 against Lions.
Keeping Jayden Daniels in his pocket, the second year quarterback was forced to throw the ball, but Packers’ secondary were carpet recipients in cover and made it difficult to get something started.

The commanders were forced to punt on their first three belongings, but Jordan Love and Packers’ violation was able to walk 96 meters on their second drive to find seven points with a Romeo Doub’s Quick Slant for the scoring. Tucker Kraft, the game’s leader in receiving yards with 124 on only six catches, had a massive 57-yard reception to quickly turn the field to the Washington territory under the drive.
Green Bay would find the final zone again in the first half, thanks to another 90 Plus-Yard drive. Malik Heath’s crazy toe-tap grip on the sidelines, which was turned after the Video Replay Review, was a massive 37-yard swing for Packers under the drive. Josh Jacobs kept his touchdown stripe going with now 10 straight season matches, which he has found colored paint on a two-yard race to make it 14-0.
Meanwhile, Matt Gay got the commanders on the board with a 51-yard field goal in the second quarter, but he was unable to convert from 58 yards until half was over. And when the second half started, Gay couldn’t make a solid commander who drove to another three points and knocked the ball from the right goal post.

But while the commanders were struggling with their violation, their defense kept the packages in check into the fourth quarter with a 17-3 ball game in favor of Green Bay. Daniels saw the opportunity with only 15 minutes left to play, and orchestrated a 50-yard touchdown drive, where his reliable tight end Zach Ertz fought in with a 20-yard catch-and-run score to make it a 17-10 game.
Now the pressure on Green Bay was to get back to the scoring and love was ready for the task. Packers went 65 yards and Love used his own tight end and found power for the light touchdown.
With the deficit with two touchdown, the commanders were in desperation mode. Daniels was able to get his violation into the final zone, where Deebo Samuel got his second touchdown of the season. But even with the two-point conversion to make it 27-18, the watch was not the commanders’ friend in the end.
Looking at the box’s score, Love 19-of-31 was in 292 yards with two two touchdown passes for his resume in the early season, while Jacobs had 84 rushing yards on 23 carrier and his score.

For the commanders, Daniels was 24-for-41 in 200 yards and two touchdowns, while being held at only 17 meters on seven bears. As a team, Washington rushed on only 51 total meters compared to Green Bays 137.
